Siv Anderson(she/her) is a composer, music educator, performing artist, and music supervisor with a Master of Music in Composition from Listaháskóli Íslands, where she studied under esteemed composers Atli Ingolffson and Pall Pallson. Works include 1966: a multimedia Opera, Small Feathers Of The Bird, and Varmahlid. As an educator, she has ten years of experience in teaching piano and voice, specializing in implementing elements of classical music and songwriting exercises in her lessons. Under her pop project ‘Siv Disa’, Siv is an accomplished recording artist with a debut album reviewed by Rolling Stone Germany and Record Collector Magazine. This album was described as “a hypnotic debut by a distinctive voice” by The Line Of Best Fit. In her spare time she enjoys attending concerts, adventurous vegetarian cooking, and spending time with her dogs.
