Liz Vila is a proud mom of two active boys, a 10 year old and 12 year old. Her 12 year old was diagnosed with autism at 4 years old. Early on it was clear that music was his passion.
At the 2023 spring Jazz Hands for Autism concert, he was fortunate enough to perform as their drummer for a couple of songs. This is how Liz learned about the wonderful organization Jazz Hands for Autism and saw first hand the amazing things they do daily in the lives of those with disabilities.
Outside of her mom title, Liz works for Undivided which is a company that assists families raising children with disabilities navigate complex systems of care to find local resources and activities for their children to thrive. She is a strong advocate within the Culver City School District for special education services to be met and sharing the importance of inclusion.
She was the Culver City School District PTA Inclusion Chair for the 2023/24 and 2024/25 school years. Currently she is on the Culver City School District Advisory Committee for Special Education and serves as the Co-Chair for the PTA Special Education Committee at the Culver City Middle School.
In her free time you will find her on the soccer field with her youngest, traveling with friends and family or hosting fun events at her home in Culver City.
