Ozzy Carmona

Ozzy Carmona is a composer, multi-instrumentalist, and music educator passionate about making music accessible to all learners. With a Master of Music in Composition from California State University, Northridge, Ozzy brings years of experience teaching voice, piano, guitar, bass, and drums to students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.


Currently an Adjunct Professor at El Camino College, Ozzy has dedicated his career to creating inclusive learning environments where every student can thrive. His teaching philosophy centers on adapting methods to meet individual needs while fostering creativity and musical growth. From his work at School of Rock West LA, where he mentored students across all ages and skill levels, to his role as an on-camera instructor for Fender Play (reaching over 1 million users), Ozzy understands how to make music education engaging and approachable.


Ozzy integrates technology thoughtfully into his teaching, using tools that enhance rather than complicate the learning experience. Whether working one-on-one or with groups, he creates supportive spaces where students feel empowered to explore their musical potential. Beyond the classroom, Ozzy is an active composer and currently serves as Head of Music for Session Music App and Production & Education Manager for Brightwork New Music.
