Paul Yorke is a versatile freelance percussionist, composer, sound designer, and music educator currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) at the California Institute of the Arts, where he studies under Tim Feeney. His impressive performance background includes
appearances with renowned ensembles such as The Bach Festival Society Orchestra, the Orlando Philharmonic, and the Orlando Ballet, as well as notable artists like Andrea Bocelli.
As the founding director of the Percussion Ensemble with the Florida Symphony Youth Orchestras, Paul has played a pivotal role in shaping young musicians and fostering their passion for percussion. He has also served as a guest artist for the University of Central Florida Summer Percussion Institute and has guest taught for many high schools and independent marching percussion ensembles, furthering his commitment to music education.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from the University of Central Florida, where he honed his skills under respected mentors and recorded with various ensembles. In addition to his studies, he served two terms as Vice President of the Collegiate Percussive Arts Society.
In addition to his performance and teaching work, Paul is the pedagogy instructor for "Jazz Hands For Autism," where he focuses on using music as a tool for empowerment and expression
for individuals with autism. His diverse experiences reflect his dedication to enriching lives through music and education.
