Ridge Farringer was born in Reno, Nevada, and discovered his love for music at an early age. When he received his first guitar at seven years old, everything changed. What began as curiosity quickly became purpose — he realized music wasn’t just something to play, but a way to create joy and connection.
In middle school, Ridge joined jazz band, building a strong foundation in groove, harmony, and collaboration. In high school, he expanded into musical theater, where he developed a passion for singing and live performance, along with a deep appreciation for the bonds formed through music.
After briefly pursuing an economics degree, Ridge chose to follow what truly fulfilled him. He moved to Los Angeles and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Guitar Performance, gaining extensive experience across genres, arranging, harmony, music theory, and multi-instrumental work including bass, piano, and vocals.
Now an independent artist performing regularly around Los Angeles, Ridge especially loves solo acoustic sets — just a guitar, a voice, and an intimate room. At his core, he’s driven by a deep passion for music and a genuine desire to share that passion with others, creating spaces where creativity feels exciting, expressive, and alive.
