Rocco Matone

I've heard it said "...everything aspires to music". I've lived like I believe those words are true. It's my way of keeping faith. The excitement of music in one form or another has been passing through me since I can remember, and I enjoy passing it on to students.  Learned to solfege from an actual singing nun, & then amateur and church singing and acting in my teens and later at concerts, tours and casual gigs. Making music lures me out of bed in the morning and does keep me up at night.  Along the way I received a master of music degree. I've learned in the studios of several generous teachers who showed me so much about singing, e.g. Liz Sabine and Robert Mazzarrella, Seth Riggs and bel canto with Phil Olson.
